Spare Time Activities

cinema and theatre
Whether you’re a cinema buff, culture vulture or just want to catch the latest releases then there’s a seat for you here. There are two multiplexes offering the latest films with comfy seats and stack of popcorn. There are also a number of smaller cinemas and arts centres offering a range of independent films, many offering discounted tickets for students. There are also two local theatres that regularly feature professional, amateur and student productions.

eating out
Leave the cooking pots at home! There are hundreds of places to eat scrumptious food – even on a student budget! You can get Burgers, pizza, curry, tapas, fajitas, steaks, all you can eat buffets and still have change for dessert. Look out for a host of places offering discount to students.

gym
During gaps in lectures you can nip to the gym and work off last nights pizza. There are loads of gym and fitness facilities within college, including the LCCM’s own student focussed Gym with loads of cardiovascular, free weights & resistance training equipment.

The sports department also run courses that give you the opportunity to learn salsa and disco dancing, aerobics, yoga and other fitness classes - so what are you waiting for?

London has more pubs per head than any other city in the UK, so whether you’re looking for a cosy place where you can read the papers on a Sunday afternoon, or a lively bar where you can meet people and party into the small hours, we guarantee you’ll find something to suit you.
