| Aims of the course The course develops knowledge of decision making and supervision
of people to achieve organizational goals. The objective is
to prepare students to be effective members and eventual leaders
in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations of all sizes.
Students learn fundamental principles of organizations, the
nature and capabilities of people, how to function well in
a team, and the methods involved in analyzing and solving
problems. Management majors gain insight and skills needed
for careers as professional managers or as self-employed entrepreneurs.
These skills include communication, group process, decision
making, planning, human resource management, information systems,
and ethics. Each student takes both required courses and electives.
Via electives, flexibility is permitted so that a student's
program may be tailored toward his or her own career goals
and objectives.

Academic Support
Academic Support will be provided by LCCM through regular
face-to-face academic counselling sessions, video conferencing
sessions and faculty visit workshops.
Students will receive weekly face-to-face academic counselling
sessions with highly professional and qualified adjunct faculty
members, who will be able to provide additional knowledge
and skills into the business and marketing environment.
User-friendly Online and interactive e-learning support will
also be available.
Entry requirements
The standard requirements are given in terms of 'benchmark'
GCSE and GCE/VCE ALevel and VCE Double Awards, but there is
a wide range of other qualifications which can be accepted.
Assessment
Students will be assessed by combination of assessment methods,
including assignments, short tests, projects and examinations.

Successful Foundation certificate Holder are more likely to gain increased responsibilities
at work that enhanced career opportunities.
